I hope it’s not early to start the countdown to summer vacation. I spent some time tinkering with a Flash tutorial and created this countdown widget.

They say all good things must come to an end. If that’s true, I wish that my fantasy hockey season had ended in better fashion.

I got talked into entering 3 different fantasy hockey leagues. At first I thought that was too much, but it turned out pretty good for me. All three teams made the playoffs. Well, this week it all ended and it wasn’t pretty.

Could those be any closer? One more assist - ONE MORE ASSIST - in either matchup and I would have won. A tie in the first league and I win since I had the better record. The opposite in the other league. Crap!

The third league (not pictured) I lost pretty convincingly, but that was for 5th place since I lost in an earlier round. I almost didn’t make the playoffs in that one, so I’ll take what I can get.

They also say, “There’s always next year.” That is true, but it doesn’t help much.
